"For the past six years, Susan’s class has sustained me.  It is the one thing I have stayed with.  My usual pattern is not sticking with or following through.  I know Susan’s Yoga is for life."
With gratitude and blessings, Wendy Lofting

“Susan’s Power Flow (SPF) Yoga has been beneficial to me in many ways. Yoga makes me see myself in new ways. On the physical level, regular practice of SPF has toned my muscles, made the body more flexible, banished the shoulder slump, and improved my posture. I sense my body release tension and my mind de-stresses during the practice. I feel more energetic, balanced, and stronger.   SPF has helped me reduce weight and keep it there, supported by a judicious diet. On the mental level, through SPF I feel more connected to myself, profoundly alert of my mental states, more attentive and focused.  I sense the resistance of the ego drop as the breath carries the body with effortless ease during the practice.   I am deeply aware of the quality of my breath and it's influence on my moods. On the spiritual level, SPF helps me remain anchored to the present moment developing equanimity. I love it. "

"I just wanted to tell you I had an amazing experience at the workshop yesterday. Truly amazing! Many things began to click for me and I began to see things I hadn't seen before in terms of the participant's body positioning, their fears, and their desires to let go. I left the workshop so excited about teaching my next class. I felt more confident than before in my ability as a teacher. Thank you! My intention for the workshop practice yesterday was to listen and learn. And I feel that that intention coupled with your amazing teaching style helped manifest my results. Thank you. I feel I have so much to learn from you. Thank you for being my teacher and adopted mentor."
With gratitude from your devoted student, Anna

"A sage once quipped that aging is about continually reinventing yourself. Yoga with Susan is about re-energizing and re-focusing, not just your body, but your mind and spirit. Susan's loving touch on and off the mat has helped me bring together many aspects of life.  For years I resisted yoga, opting for running, cycling, and weightlifting, what you resist persists, and now, I've glimpsed the light."

"Yoga has been in a mental plan to study since high school.  I read books about yoga and yoga stretched after gymnastics workouts in college.  Once I hit 40 I started to get more serious sports injuries from horseback riding, snow skiing, water skiing and running.  Injuries included repaired anterior cruciate ligament and torn meniscus, lower jaw neuralgia, lower back pain, shoulder pain and neck pain.  My body hurt and I felt sad!  For years I tried every therapy imaginable including Reiki healing, shiatsu massage, acupuncture, physical therapy and chiropractic manipulation.  Nothing gave me any long term success or relief.  Yoga has.  Having a supportive, kind and experienced instructor like Susan is icing on the cake!  As a by product, yoga has caused me to feel really, really good about myself!"

"Yoga has become a basic nutrient for my soul.  When I decided to try yoga about a year ago I felt as though I was spiraling in the wrong direction and I was just tired of being tired all the time and feeling guilty that I was not enjoying my life experiences.  After about 3 months of going to Susan's classes at the YMCA, I became aware of what I needed to do.  I needed to let go of the feelings that I would be a failure, that my education would be a waste if I left my corporate life to find a new path.  All Susan needed to tell me during one of her workshops was that "You are not defined by what you do or what you have accomplished in this life." I knew in my heart she was right and I have not looked back.  I have turned to yoga more and more, continuing to grow in my practice and in my life. This is where I want to be."
